After the Holiday Inn Express Irving North canceled my prepaid booking under a confusing explanation, the Irving South location really helped us out. We booked while waiting to get off the plane, then called to make sure the reservation was still there. The staff seemed surprised we had booked through the app, given what had happened at the other hotel. Everyone at the front desk was professional. The shuttle arrived ahead of schedule and got us safely to the hotel. They also offered late checkout and a 2 PM ride back to DFW right away. The place was clean, and breakfast was fresh and tasty. You can tell the IHG staff takes pride in their work. Great communication and customer service, and a huge save for us. Other IHG properties could learn from this one.

Room 510 was spotless and relaxing, and the shower was one of the best I've used, both for pressure and for keeping the temperature steady. Breakfast was tasty and well stocked, and the hotel clearly gets a lot of care in its upkeep and comforts. Check-in was quick and easy, and the atmosphere felt calm and cozy. The highlight came at checkout, when I met Azül. Even though we only spoke briefly, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely interested in our chance conversation. That small interaction means a lot to me and stands out as the best part of my stay. She's a treasure. I'd happily recommend this hotel to other travelers.

There's nowhere to walk to except a Red Lobster and a gas station. The elevator was out, so I had to take the stairs for two weeks. The mini fridge didn't work either.

Holiday travel lines at TSA made me miss my flight by five minutes, and the hotel made the unexpected stay a lot better. My voucher covered the room, which was clean, and breakfast was available too. When I called for a ride, they picked me up and arranged a van to take me back afterward. The staff were friendly and the stay was nice.

My mom was trapped in the elevator for nearly 15 minutes, with nobody helping until she called 911. She was dizzy and close to passing out. The staff seemed more concerned about getting the elevator fixed than about her. Please avoid this place. They won't care until somebody dies in that elevator.
