Holiday Inn Express & Suites Irving Dfw Airport North by IHG

We left three things in our room by accident, one of them a medical device my friend needs for their health. It took us about 12 hours to realize, and I was already on a plane, so email was my only way to reach the hotel. We assumed the items would be gone by then and told the hotel as much. Instead, they sent a detailed reply saying everything had been found and put somewhere safe. Getting them back saved us more than $100 and a lot of hassle. I'm extremely satisfied with the staff, especially the email and housekeeping teams, management, and shuttle service at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Irving DFW Airport North by IHG. It's not a perfect, expensive hotel, but their professionalism and service were extraordinary. They really made us feel cared for.

The breakfast was a real highlight: coffee, juice, water, milk, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal, toast, bagels, warm cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy, folded eggs with cheese, sausage, bacon, and pancakes from a machine. There were plenty of condiments and a roomy dining area to enjoy it all. We picked a second-floor, nonsmoking room with two queen beds and a tub and shower. It was huge, clean, updated, and had everything we needed to be comfortable. There were no stains, bugs, broken items, or signs of dirt. The pictures online didn't do the size justice. Parking was organized too: a young woman gave me a key card, recorded my vehicle details, and handed me a slip with a number to put on the dashboard so we wouldn't be towed. The hotel was spotless and up to date, and the two front desk clerks, both Black women with cute Stanley cups, were the kindest hotel staff I've ever met. They made us feel welcome, like a room was ready just for us. I'd give the place 10 stars and stay again. Thanks to the Holiday Inn Express & Suites team and owner for making so many people happy.

A flight cancellation left me at the hotel for one night in room 117 on 2/16/2026. I checked in late and found barely any water pressure in the bathroom sink. By morning, the shower had no water at all and the bathroom floor was flooded. The front desk showed very little concern and offered no compensation. I finally reached a manager two days later. She said the room had checked out fine and suggested that someone, meaning me, had loosened a screw. I can't recommend staying here.

Our flight was canceled, and this was one of the few Holiday Inns with rooms left. We slept really well in the comfortable beds, and the room felt clean and cozy. It's a short drive to the airport, but there's no airport shuttle, so you'll need to use Uber.
