We were in a bind after leaving Embassy Suites across the street, and Angelina helped our group out. She told us the other hotel had a lot of issues, then managed to secure more than 30 rooms for us at 3am. Six stars for her!

Our kids loved the game area. Whenever we came in or headed out, they’d stop at a foosball table for a quick match, and they enjoyed the other board-style games too. It gave us a way to spend time together without being stuck in our room. We stayed four nights over Thanksgiving. The rooms were smaller than ones we’ve had at some other hotels, but still very nice, and all the staff were fantastic. Breakfast was the weak spot: limited choices, much the same each morning, and no biscuits and gravy. There were eggs, a choice of meats, bread or bagels to toast, a pancake machine that struggled, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, and yogurt. It wasn’t a big deal given how good the hotel and staff were overall.

There were tools and equipment spread across the floor just inside the front door, creating a trip hazard. The outside also looked poorly kept for a fairly new hotel, and there was trash on the hallway floor, though it may have been left by a guest. The front desk staff weren’t rude, but they weren’t friendly either. Checking in for our reservation turned into one problem after another. Honestly, it would have been easier to ask for a room and pay for a night, since making an online reservation seemed useless.

General Manager Helio personally greeted guests and made sure check-in went smoothly. I haven’t seen that kind of hands-on attention from a GM before. The staff made me feel welcome and looked after from the moment I arrived. My room was spotless and comfortable, with everything I needed. The airport-side location is convenient but still quiet and relaxing, so it felt like a home away from home. I’ll definitely return on my next trip.
