Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Las Colinas

The top-notch service and experience really stood out to me. I give five stars when a place has that wow factor, and this hotel delivered what most hotels don't. Special thanks to all the staff. I'll make it a must-stay when I'm back in the Dallas area.

The exterior and grounds look a little dated, but the lobby and rooms have been updated and are nice. It's close to DFW, with a fair variety of food places nearby. Service was great.

The front desk woman who checked me in was very nice, and I think she was the event coordinator. The bartender that evening was great too. I asked for a sweet, fruity surprise and he made a couple of lovely drinks. The room cleanliness needs more attention, especially around the beds. There were no bedbug protectors on the mattresses, unlike at almost all the Courtyards I've stayed at. The box springs and the area behind the bed were filthy, and there was lots of dust on the headboard and the wooden tray on the ottoman. The pool seemed dirty, and the stairs were slimy, so we didn't swim.

We had a great setup for our family. My parents were happy with their accessible room and roll-in shower, while my suite had a bedroom with two queen beds and a main room with a couch and pull-out bed. The layout worked perfectly. The hotel was clean and orderly. The staff were the best part. Zane (spelling) was attentive, patient, and friendly. The woman on the afternoon and evening shift, Kayla/Kylie?, was friendly as well, as was the man who checked us in late Friday night. The little Starbucks had a few food options, though there's no free breakfast and it closes at 10am on weekends. The people there were friendly too. The location is fantastic. Downtown Dallas was a quick trip, and getting to Forth worth was easy because of the nearby highway. Comfortable, quiet, clean, and friendly, in a great location.
