The person working the lobby at checkout was amazing and had already taken care of my questions. That was the one good interaction. I booked through Expedia after the offer showed an airport shuttle, then the hotel dropped the service without telling me. By then, canceling was impossible. When I brought up that nobody had answered the phone during the afternoon of May 6th, they put me in the loudest room by the highway and refused to move me. Someone else told me the next day a room change was possible because the hotel was empty. Whether anyone answers seems to depend on who’s at the desk. They didn’t pick up for me or Expedia that afternoon. Emails and questions got ignored, with a PDF of the reservation sent back instead. I won’t make that mistake again. Next time I’ll check reviews here or on booking.com. People tell the truth.

At 3 a.m. I was sitting on the bed trying to kill a huge roach. Before that, I’d been calling since 7 p.m. to say I’d arrive late and confirm my stay, but nobody answered. Once I got there, the person at the counter was completely unwelcoming. There wasn’t a microwave in the room, and calling downstairs about it got no answer either. Horrible.

I’ve stayed at BW hotels for the past two years, and every one I remember had a pool, so finding none here was a letdown, especially for a BW Plus. The AC barely cooled, the hard pillows and bedding were uncomfortable, and the room was missing bathroom essentials. The coffee machine hadn’t been cleaned properly either. I finally dozed off around 2 a.m., then the false fire alarms went off twice starting at 8 a.m., for 20 minutes each. It was a bad stay.

After hours on the road, I was left sitting at the counter while they couldn’t figure out how to do their job. I signed for a $25 deposit, then the day after my stay they charged me another $150 for no reason. I just paid $300 to stay at a low class hotel. Scammers too.

David was so patient and helpful at check-in when I realized I’d booked the wrong dates. He kindly fixed my mistake. The hotel made my surprise overnight stay in Dallas comfortable and convenient. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable, and the good service made everything easier.
