There were roaches everywhere in every room we stayed in, including lots of babies and ones carrying eggs. Strangers kept coming up asking if anyone was selling meth, and there were prostitutes around. I’m sure the property manager is involved. They cared about money but didn’t keep the place up to code. We couldn’t work because we had no car and didn’t have enough to cover the room. They threw us out into an ice storm, knowing I have epilepsy and my sister has a mobility disability. Meanwhile, people who hadn’t paid for weeks were allowed to stay. We tried to pay what we could, and they took a partial payment, then said we had two hours to pay the rest. They took $200 from me, then said that covered only one night instead of two, and there was still a ridiculous balance. We got kicked straight out into the cold. If you care about your money, don’t stay here.

You won’t get your deposit back, no matter what. And apparently if you leave a bad review or complain, you have to wait 90 days because they won’t welcome you back. I’m not joking.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and the Country Cafe in the same building as the front desk served pretty decent food. That’s about all I liked. The room was hot when I came in, there was barely anything extra, and the towels looked and smelled dirty. They hand you one roll of toilet paper at check-in. The location was horrible. I arrived a few hours before check-in and paid the extra $25 for early access, which was fine. But then there was a $4.99 fee and a supposedly refundable $25 deposit that I was meant to get back after checkout and housekeeping inspected the room. I still haven’t received a cent. When I called this morning, the employee hung up on me. The staff were rude and no help at all. Probably the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. Save your money and find somewhere else to crash. I definitely won’t get my deposit now.

The bedding was dirty, the pillows were worn out, and there were roaches. Staff were incredibly rude. The owner apparently handles every problem by calling the police, even when it’s about how his staff treats people. A horrible place to stay.

The person at the site who sold me the room was pushy and wouldn’t let me get a word in. He kept running the conversation like he was doing me a favor, and came across as manipulative and narcissistic. He suggested I come early but never said I’d be charged extra. I showed up when he told me to, only to find out there was another $25 charge. He was deceitful about it and forceful the whole time.
