It's a decent place to come back to and relax, but the room lighting is weak and still leaves the room dark with the little lights on. The main issue is breakfast: it's all carbs, with bagels, toast, cereal, waffles, and fruit, but no protein like eggs, bacon, or sausage. That's not good for diabetics. Maybe they assume guests can go to the Denny's next door, but I didn't have time to eat there before my new-job orientation.

For an overnight layover, this was a comfortable and convenient stay. The room was large and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast choices were okay. The airport is about a 15-minute shuttle ride away. I called the hotel after landing, and the shuttle came; I arranged the morning return trip with the front desk.

The location is great, close to DFW and handy for getting around the metroplex. Staff were friendly and professional, especially front desk staff Eli and Al and Ms. Jackson. The value is amazing, and breakfast is a consistent, convenient way to start the day, though it could be updated and served for longer hours. Even the new rooms could use improvement. The property is being renovated, so hopefully things, including the pool area, get better with time.

Other options were either too run-down, too expensive, or both. This was the best hotel I could find, and it didn't disappoint. The front desk service was absolutely amazing.

The room was decent, with a comfortable bed, okay pillows, and a nice dark atmosphere. The elevator had a strange burnt-oil smell that carried into the floor hallways. My wife and I also got stuck in it for about five minutes. We kept calling the front desk but were put on hold, which was pretty annoying. For the price, it's a decent hotel.
