SpringHill Suites by Marriott DFW Airport East/Las Colinas

We got to SpringHill just before 11 pm after more than five hours waiting at the airport, then hearing our delayed flight had been pushed back another eight hours. We were only there for about six hours before our next plane, but the front desk welcomed us warmly. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the air conditioning felt great. Much better than the airport floor. I'd recommend it!

Rain on April 4th led to a leak around our room window. I told the front desk, and within five minutes they offered us another room. The staff were super friendly, breakfast was good, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It's a very nice hotel and has earned a spot on our list of good places to stay.

One elevator was out of service, but the rest of the experience was wonderful. The food was good, the meeting room worked great for our seminar, and everything was clean as a whistle. The shuttle goes to DFW Airport and places within a 5-mile radius, but doesn't serve Love Field. Uber or Lyft can cover that trip. Nina, the shuttle driver, was professional and so friendly, getting me where I needed to go without a hitch. Karen at the bar was just as polite and professional, handling food and drink orders without missing a beat. Thanks to SpringHill Suites, Nina, and Karen.

The rooms, lobby, and facilities were spotlessly clean. Everyone, from the night and daytime desk crews to the shuttle drivers, breakfast attendants, and housekeepers, was kind and welcoming. After nearly three days here, it was clear the staff look after and respect each other too. They even gave staff rooms so they could stay safely through the storm. I spent two nights here waiting for the storm to pass before flying out of DFW, just four miles away. It was an unexpected multi-night stay during an unprecedented storm, but they made it comfortable and restful, almost like a planned vacation. I'm deeply grateful to everyone who kept Springhill Suites running for travelers and DFW crew seeking shelter. If I'm ever stranded in Dallas again, this will be my first choice.
