Fidelia Beryl Room

After I called Booking.com support and stepped outside to look for somewhere safer, the host returned while I was still on the call. He was yelling, grabbed me, and tried to punch me. I ran through the streets carrying all my bags as he chased me, and support heard what was happening live. I’d booked this property weeks ahead, but on arrival I learned the host had double-booked it and took me to another of his properties five minutes away in an extremely filthy car. That house was in terrible shape: the door had no lock, there were stains and insects, and it smelled bad. I felt both properties were in a high-crime neighborhood and extremely unsafe. It was one of the scariest experiences of my life. If I hadn’t been fit, or if I’d been with someone else, things could have ended badly. Stay safe and find another place.
