Q and Steven are the reason our weekend at Caloosa Cove turned into a perfect stay. I was there for a twenty year reunion with a couple of friends, and I’m so glad we chose the resort. Q arranged our arrival, found us a great room, and had useful advice about the area. She knows the Keys and traffic patterns, which saved us a lot of time heading home. Steven was just as thoughtful. When I stopped at the office for coffee, there was no sugar. I was fine without it, but he dashed out and came back two minutes later with some. He has an open door policy and will take care of what you need. They both mean it when they say they want guests to be happy. The rooms are great, the pool deck beautiful, the beach area awesome, and the location and parking are convenient. The team made it a perfect weekend. Thanks, Q and Steven!

We arrived to check in on MLK day and found nobody there, just a note saying our key was in a lock box. The smell in the room was so overwhelming that we couldn’t stay. I called the manager, who assured us we’d be credited, but that never happened. This may once have been an okay place, but it wasn’t for us. The online pictures are soooo much better than reality. If you book here, good luck.

A great week, quiet and close to lots to do. We grilled and swam in the ocean, and the pool had plenty of floats and seating. There are dolphin research and turtle rescue places, charter and party fishing boats, restaurants, snorkeling and dive trips nearby. Even iguanas on the property. The staff is fantastic and goes the extra mile. The Safari lounge is opening back up soon.

After 27 years of making Caloosa Cove our favorite family vacation spot, we’re moving on. This trip was truly disappointing. There were roaches and ants in our room, and the overall cleanliness needs attention. The shower head leaks, the bathroom ventilation doesn’t work, and three requests for fresh towels over 24 hours were ignored. The rooms and amenities were renovated after Hurricane Irma, and ownership changed a few years ago. I wish it weren’t so, but this was our last stay.

Really nice resort in the Islamorada area, with a lovely pool and great views. There’s a very good restaurant nearby too. I’d recommend it to everyone.
