The Ocean View Inn & Pub

The OV had a relaxed, fun atmosphere with that classic Keys vibe. It’s an easy place to sit back, enjoy the view, and take your time. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and the whole place had good energy. I stopped in while visiting the Keys and had a great experience. I’d recommend it if you’re in the area.

We’ve stayed at the OV more times than I can count. It’s a comfortable place, with indoor and outdoor bars and a pool open to all patrons. The food is great and the view even better. A not-so-hidden gem in the Keys, definitely stop in.

After a local sports bar turned down our request to put on the soccer game, this place was more than accommodating. JJ behind the bar had it on and four stools waiting for us. It’s a cozy, rustic bar, with a big back patio and plenty more seating. Lunch was excellent, JJ’s service was great, and the prices are very reasonable.

The place has a real local feel, from the slightly aged sign saying it’s the area’s oldest liquor license to the live music. We had a short trip with friends and a room with a private patio beneath a flower-covered gazebo. A short walk through sand takes you to the pool, open until 11 pm, so night swims are great. It’s right by the bar patio, and a path through the mangroves leads to the ocean. Boats can park there. Bar food was good, prices decent, and service friendly.
