Three Waters Resort And Marina, Islamorada

The grounds and pool area at TWR are beautiful. We came over for the afternoon from a sister resort on the rum runner, and the free boat ride was a really fun perk. You can bring drinks aboard, though I did wish there were a bar too. We got wet, but Mia and captain Jen quickly brought us towels, and they were lovely hosts with a fun playlist. I'd love to see more rum runner trips and departure times.

Dave and Bruce made the rum runner boat ride amazing, it was the best part of our trip. Nevena at the experience counter also took great care of our kids. The resort experience costs a lot, especially since the rooms are small and the bathroom has no counter space. The beds were okay, better than most.

Our Cove room felt a little small, although it looked recently renovated. The resort itself has great amenities, a lovely island feel, and really delightful food. We took the rumrunner loop with captain Jen and Bruce. They were wonderful hosts, and we spotted dolphins and a sea turtle.

Having the marina right by the rooms made boat excursions and fishing charters especially convenient. Three Waters Resort is a handy base for a Florida Keys trip, whether you're out on the water, relaxing by the pool, or exploring Islamorada. There are several pools, small beach areas, waterfront views, and a full-service marina. The Marriott property has plenty to do without feeling too crowded. After a long day on the water, we liked being able to stay onsite for food and drinks. The tiki bar had a fantastic atmosphere, and Kindler Wood-Fired Fare was one of our best dinners on the trip. Our room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The whole resort had a relaxed, upscale feel that suited Islamorada well.
