Island Park Lodge

We chose this hotel because it was reasonably priced and close enough to Yellowstone National Park. It turned out to be a welcoming, rustic-looking motel, with lovely big flower pots outside every door. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and decorated in a rustic style. The mattresses were soft but still comfortable. The room got hot, though, and the air-conditioning unit was quite loud. Aside from that, it was worth the money for the location, and I'd stay again.

The hotel staff were hospitable and kind, and our clean, spacious room had plenty of outlets, seating, and tables. I just wish there'd been a full-length mirror in the room. We had a wonderful stay at what might be the cutest place in Island Park. It was perfectly located for our activities, with a gas station and grocery store in the same lot.

We came for a convenient, clean place to stay near Yellowstone Park, and Island lodge worked out well for our two nights. The room was super tiny, but it did the job. We'd definitely come back.

The sausage gravy was good, but the cheese in the eggs tasted off. There were only two fruit options. I just stopped in for the $14 buffet breakfast, and it was pretty meh.
