The lake and surrounding area are beautiful, and the shop has a variety of things to buy. The place looks just as it did 30 years ago, and the boats are old, though they do the job. We had to call the clerk to come help us, but it wasn't a big deal. He was very nice.

We enjoyed looking out at Henry's Lake, and the friendly staff were accommodating. The room at Jared's Wild Rose was clean and comfortable, though quaint and a little small. It's dated, as we expected, but staying here saved money compared with West Yellowstone during our Yellowstone National Park visit. The extra 15-minute drive to the park entrance felt worth it.

The staff were so kind and clearly cared. After we booked a room that wouldn't have worked well for my father and me, he flagged the issue and found us a better one. Then we realized we'd messed up again and had no dinner, so he kindly walked back to the store and sold us some. The setting is gorgeous, with the lake, mountains all around, and incredible views in every direction. It's close to Yellowstone, too. Rustic place, beautiful surroundings, free coffee, and everything we needed. One of our two favorite hotels or motels so far on this trip!

The bed was really comfortable, and the owner was attentive when we checked in. There's a store with food and other things, and the location worked well for us. I liked the stay, though I think the bathroom could've been cleaned a bit better.

We were the only guests on site, which was pretty amazing, and the views and hookups were fabulous. The ranch wasn't fully open yet because we stayed the weekend Yellowstone opened partially. It's beautifully set on the lake, about 30 minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance. The owners and operators were great to deal with and very responsive. I'd love to come back in summer.
