I've stayed here twice now. Good breakfast both mornings, and I wish the place had a pool. It's a great base for visiting Seattle without paying Seattle prices. You're just off I-90, so it's easy to get back on in either direction. There are some decent places to eat nearby and inexpensive spots to pick up anything you forgot.

The noise made this one of our worst stays in years. We were in room 204, beside the stairs and elevator. The stairs get a lot of use since you pass their door to reach the tiny elevator, and with only two floors most people take the stairs. That door slams loudly each time it closes, waking us over and over through the night. Then, at 4 am, a loud, steady beep started and went on for 8 min. I thought it might be a CO alarm. I messaged the front desk through the app, got no reply, and called several times without an answer. I finally got dressed and went into the hall to find the sound. It was coming from room 202. Someone seemed to have set an alarm and slept through it. I pounded on the door, and about 5 seconds later the beeping stopped. The hotel hadn't helped. The parking layout was frustrating, too. The nearby spaces were all handicapped spots, as they should be, but around 8 other spaces close by were set aside for electric vehicle charging. Charging spots are a good idea, but using a whole nearby section just for those cars didn't make sense for customer service. It was even more annoying because I used a free hotel night from my Marriott card. If I have to stay again, I'll refuse any second-floor room below 208 so I'm away from that slamming door.

I liked the room's simple, elegant, functional decor, with a Scandinavian feel. The peaceful location felt tucked away in a nice area, and I enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Seeing two Bibles in the room reminded me of the old days when hotel rooms used to have one. I'm not Christian, but I liked seeing them. It felt nostalgic and reminded me to stay grounded and keep my faith in God. God bless the hotel's management. I hope they keep this simplicity and classic elegance for a while. I'd definitely stay here again.

A clean, older hotel, and the windows open a little. It's a definite 3star place, without bells or whistles if that's what you want. At check-in they told us maintenance was being done on the thermostats. It wasn't pleasant having to wonder if a maintenance person might come into our room.

As a frequent Marriott guest, I've valued the brand's customer service and integrity, but Fairfield Inn Issaquah didn't live up to those values. I advise potential guests to choose another property. Other Fairfield Inns and Marriott hotels nearby should treat guests and their payment details with the respect and professionalism they deserve. My card was charged without my authorization. I tried several times to sort it out, but property management didn't help. The manager I spoke with couldn't assist or process a straightforward refund, and communication was poor throughout. I ended up escalating the issue to the Better Business Bureau, the Washington State Attorney General's office, and Marriott corporate headquarters. The lack of accountability and basic customer service was unacceptable for any hotel, especially one under the Marriott name.
