We only meant to stop for gas and a break, but ended up staying the night. The rooms sit right above the truck stop, and getting there is easy: take the outside stairs or go through the store and use the elevator. There's a terrace outside with a picnic table, too. It’s an unusual setup, but useful on a road trip. The room was plain and a little old, though clean and practical, and surprisingly quiet. The AC worked, but the room had a musty smell, and the carpet could use attention. The bathroom wasn’t fancy either, but it was clean. We picked up drinks and snacks downstairs, then had a place to shower, rest, check email, get coffee, and sleep without spending much.

It’s great that the whole hotel is non-smoking. The rooms are nice for a place in this location and get cleaned every day. Staff are polite and friendly, and they’ll help however they can.

The front desk manager was really friendly, and the bed was very comfortable. The room was pretty clean too. You can hear a bit of noise since it’s by the truck stop and just off the interstate, but I’d definitely come back.

I was confused at first by the combination of truck stop, gas station, diner, and hotel, but the rooms turned out to be decent and surprisingly quiet. I could barely hear the highway from inside. It’s also very reasonably priced and well located, so I’d definitely recommend it as a place to sleep.

We got a room around 8 pm without a reservation, and there were still rooms available. For $80 we had two queen beds, a very clean, updated room, and parking right out front that felt safe. The room was quiet, with a mini fridge, cable TV, coffee pods, tea bags, and even a box of mints. The toiletries were luxurious, and the big white towels were super soft and fluffy. I watched Die Hard, though I’m not sure which one. The store downstairs is open 24 hours. They also offer showers for people passing through for $12, and said the Pilot across the street charges $20. It was a lovely overnight stop in Italy (TX) during my weekend road trip. I was so impressed, and it added to the smiles and songs from my spirit-filled Christian weekend. Thanks for spreading the love. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
