Meadow Court Inn

We stayed two nights because some family members were getting married at Lodi point park. The place was quiet, which we appreciated, and the staff were really nice. Our room was fairly clean, though the floors could have used more attention. Breakfast was free and had bagels, cold cereal, Danish, coffee, and tea. They didn’t leave extra toilet paper in the room, but I’d stay here again.

The front desk woman was incredibly kind and helpful, and I felt safe here. We came for hiking and waterfalls and wanted a cheap place, since luxury wasn’t important for this trip. Still, $120 with tax felt absurd for what we got. It should’ve been $30 at most. The “continental breakfast” was pretty loose as a description: one Danish put out at a time for our family of three, a small stale bagel, and cereal. The room was also rough. There was so much mold that I woke up with a swollen face and congested nose, which doesn’t happen to me otherwise. We barely slept because the beds grossed us out. They had numerous stains, and the blankets were so worn that you could hardly see the pattern. I’m not sure I’d come back. If I did, I’d bring my own blanket. I’m never traveling without it again!

The rooms are fine for a short visit, with a fridge, microwave, heat, and air conditioning. They’re clean, though they need updating. The front desk is very friendly and helpful, and the price was good each time I stayed. Free WiFi too.

The staff were really nice and helpful, and the room was clean. It’s an old hotel, but you can tell they’re working on improving it. Since the new staff came on, the rooms have been getting better and better. Good for the money.
