I woke up after one night with a lot of bite marks on my arms. Something was in that bed. Save your money and don't stay here.

A commercial laundry soap tub was being used as a trash can, and the plumbing was bizarre. The motel was incredibly dated, with holes in the walls painted over. Those pictures are completely fake. Note to self: drive another 100 miles if you have to.
I've stayed in cheap places for work and never expected much here, but this was the worst one I've seen. There were cockroaches, pills and condom wrappers on the floor, mold inches thick in the fridge, stains everywhere, holes in the walls, and dirt all over. The front desk guy and the “cleaning lady” were outside drinking. The guy lives on a mattress on the ground behind the front desk. I showed them photos of the room, but for some reason they couldn't refund me. When I called the number, they said it looked like I'd paid cash, even though I paid by card. I'd sleep in my truck or under the interstate bridge before setting foot in there again. I can't believe it's still in business.
We went to a wedding in Jacksboro after checking in, but when it was over, the room was too nasty to stay in, so we drove the two hours home. It was dark, dirty, and outdated, with something orange dried in a streak on the wall. The towels felt like cardboard. We were in a rush before the wedding and didn't get a chance to look properly.
We usually book cheap rooms and don't expect much, but this one couldn't be locked from the outside, had no hot water, and the microwave didn't work. The deadbolt did work from inside. We only realized the problems that morning and didn't report them right away because the front desk person spoke limited English. After breakfast, we told him the door wouldn't lock. He just shrugged, repeated what we'd said, and asked us to move so he could change the sheets, an hour before checkout. We saw him starting to clean the room when we went out for breakfast. Another guest also complained about no hot water. OYO=ONO Update October 8 2024: I just noticed an OYO charge dated October 2, 2024, from while I was out of the country. I've contacted OYO Experience Team and my credit card provider. I've never had service this bad.
