Extended Stay America Select Suites Jackson North

We'd booked a room, but it wasn't available when we arrived, so they downgraded us for the same price. The receptionist first assigned one room, then changed it as we were leaving. The second room reeked of smoke, and the third did too. It looked like nothing but the bedsheets had been cleaned, as far as we could tell. There was hair in the bathroom, a grimy toilet, and dead bugs by and inside the fridge. We also had no trash bins. The signs say kitchen items are available in the rooms and at reception, but apparently they don't provide them anymore. Maybe take those signs down. I've stayed at extended-stay places and lots of motels, and this was probably one of the worst.

Corey, the General Manager, and the staff are courteous and easy to reach. I've enjoyed staying here over time. It's comfortable and quiet, with many restaurants and activities nearby, and it's been a good value for my family and me.

I couldn't get into one of the rooms during a sleepover here with my baby, so we all ended up stuck in one room. I went to find Boomer, the service clerk, but he was nowhere around. The next morning I spoke with the manager, who was rude, even though everyone was telling him I'd already come by to talk. They never fixed the issue, and he didn't reach out to “ jcq “ either. They were so unprofessional.

The room was roomy, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed. The staff were friendly and efficient. Ms. Brandy, Keisha, and Jetta made the stay special with their warm, funny hospitality. We had a wonderful visit and will definitely come back. I'd recommend this hotel.
