La Quinta Inn & Suites By Wyndham Jackson

The parking lot was blazing bright, so it felt safe. The place is brand new and a good price, with nice, fairly quiet rooms and a comfy bed. Service was polite, though breakfast came a little late. The egg-like stuff was puffy, the bacon paper thin, and my wife found the sausage way too spicy, but it worked.

The walls do seem thin, and for all its beauty, the place doesn't feel especially cozy. It's more business-like. Still, our King Room was huge, with high ceilings, and the bed was comfortable. The internet signal was better than at any hotel we've stayed at during our past three long road trips. There are plenty of outlets, the shower with hand sprayer is awesome, and the bath towels are a decent size, unlike the tiny ones at other budget hotels. Breakfast was great, and coffee's available in the lobby 24/7. This new LaQuinta in Jackson, TN smells new and looks very clean.

The staff were all welcoming and friendly, and breakfast was good. We would stay at this new build again, but it seems like corners were cut. Wyndham needs to hire better contractors and send maintenance staff to deal with the issues.

Elka, our breakfast host, really made the stay memorable. She was sweet, kind, helpful, and went out of her way to make sure guests were cared for and accommodated. You can tell she works hard and truly cares about good service. The rooms at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Jackson, TN were beautiful, spotless, and well maintained. The stay was peaceful and pleasant, and we'll definitely be back. Thanks to La Quinta for a wonderful stay, and especially to Elka for her kindness and hard work.
