The staff have been friendly and dependable during my week working nearby. They have rooms for crews and construction workers, with rates that fit a worker's budget. So far, I haven't run into any problems.

The room was quiet, clean, and more spacious than I expected, and the location made it easy to get off the highway and reach nearby places. After driving for 16 exhausting hours, I was especially glad for how helpful and accommodating the staff were. Their friendly service made the stay a great experience, and the price was good too. I'd recommend it and plan to come back. Thanks to the staff!
For $60, the room was a decent deal and it was clean. The remote had no batteries, and there wasn't a shower curtain. It was already late, so I didn't bother telling anyone since it wasn't a big deal. The front desk person wasn't very sociable and seemed unsure whether a room was available. Still, a reasonable place for the money.
I arrived at 3 a.m. after calling twice the day before to check that a late check-in would be okay. Tami had confirmed it was reasonable and would be accommodated, but the door was locked and Shellie was grumpy, hard to communicate with, and seemed inept. She first said there were no rooms, then still couldn't find my reservation when I gave my name. I had to show the confirmation on my phone through the locked glass door, and she misheard my name several times. Even after she located a room, she asked me to pay despite my having paid in full. I called [hotel reservation company], and they had to call her to explain that I was expected. Only then did she find my reservation on a paper she said she'd audited at 1:30 that morning. Tami was on the phone with her, though Shellie hadn't known who had been working the morning before. Shellie then told me to read a dense form and pointed out there was no note on it, as if I should know how to interpret the paperwork. It took 45 minutes from arrival to get a key. The room was filthy, with stains along the carpet and a bad smell. What finally made me leave was a large bug crawling from the pillow onto the headboard. I returned the key and told Shellie. She chuckled and said bugs come in when it rains because it's an old place. I expected a paid hotel room to be bug free. The occasional spider or fly might be understandable, but this felt more like a campground. I left and slept in a gas station parking lot, and still think that was the right call. I've never had a worse hotel experience, and I wouldn't stay here again even for free. It's not suitable for business travelers, or, I'd say, any kind of traveler. There are plenty of nearby options. With all the hotels I've stayed in, the odds of finding one as sassy, gross, or slow seem slim. Pay extra to stay somewhere else, or sleep in your car. Just don't come here.
The rooms were nice. I didn't ask the staff for anything, so I can't really say how the service was. There wasn't any free breakfast, though. The location is on Jacksonville's east side, and I had to drive halfway up Morton to find something to eat. I checked the weekly price for a room with a kitchen and wow, about $400 a week is too much for me. Apartments are expensive too, and I still haven't decided where I'm going to move. I hope MCH has something available soon.
