Economy Inn San Marco

We were driving from Georgia in the rain and couldn't see well, so we had to stop for a room. The place was run-down, the towels were dirty, and there were roaches in the room. Every hotel-room fear came true, and we had our kids with us.

It was surprisingly quiet despite being in a busy area, and the property is old but very well maintained. I'd definitely recommend it. My one complaint is housekeeping: the composite wood floors in the rooms could use a thorough mopping.

The only upside was the low price. The walls, counters, and floors were dirty when I checked in, and after my kids had been there for two days, I found someone's used needles behind the TV. Not impressed at all.

I’ve been here for two weeks and haven’t seen a single bug. The room stays really clean, fresh towels come every day, the sheets are fresh, the bed is comfortable, and the furniture is nice. I love the wood floors, and the bathroom feels like home. There’s always plenty of hot water. The outside is well cared for, and the owners clearly take pride in the place. He keeps an eye on everyone and everything to make sure the wrong type of people aren't staying here, which matters in this area. It's peaceful and quiet enough to sleep well. I was honestly impressed, and you should come see it for yourself.
