Comfort Inn Jacksonville Texas

We were visiting from Dallas for the weekend and got stuck here because our online booking was non-refundable. The hallway carpet smelled bad and felt old and clammy. On our second day there weren’t clean towels ready for the room, the tub backed up when we showered, the fridge was dirty, and breakfast was horrible. The front desk staff were rude and unprofessional. The white, heavy-built woman at the desk especially lacked customer service skills. Please save your money and stay somewhere else.

The breakfast was just a waffle maker, cereal, and toast, and the place felt older despite efforts to make it look nice. Cleanliness was below par: our sheets were filthy, so we stripped them, remade the bed, and could only hope the replacement sheets were actually clean. The staff were nice enough, but didn’t seem very concerned about the sheets. For a budget hotel, it was way overpriced.

We’ve stayed here a couple of times and just love it. My parents came to town unexpectedly, and we needed two rooms. Maggie had exactly two available at the time and booked them for us. It’s always a great experience, and we’ll definitely be back 😁

The dusty furniture and burned bed comforter were bad enough, but the bathroom was dirty too. Before I’d even showered, I saw hairs on the wall, the tub looked unclean, and the shower curtain was so stained I didn’t want to touch it. The hallway looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in months and smelled like weed. Don’t stay here. Save your money and go somewhere else.
