We arrived very late and found the staff pleasant, the WiFi working, and our room clean. Still, this is definitely not a Holiday Inn, and the promised continental breakfast wasn't there. The rooms could use updating. It's set a little back from the main road, but I felt safe, and the stay was decent overall.

I stayed for three weeks, and they made me feel at home right from the start. The staff were friendly, helpful, and flexible with my family's needs. It's a good budget option, and I'll keep coming back whenever I'm in Jacksonville. It feels like home away from home.

I stepped inside and turned right around. The place was filthy and worn out, with bedbugs, damaged furniture and facilities, and what seemed like drug and bug infestations. The pool was green, and people were smoking and drinking outside. I heard it's permanently closed now, and it should be. Just gross.

At $120 a night, this was easily my worst stay anywhere, and I felt uneasy the whole time. The online photos make the place look much nicer than it is, and the same dates are now listed for $50 less. They said only one room was left, but the place was nowhere near full. It felt shady. We paid only about $50 more per night for a really nice place in St.Augustine, so this craphole was a shock. I just hope I can finish my vacation without getting shot. This isn't even a bad part of Jacksonville. Our room had loose bathroom pipes, carpet coming up, an old television, and blankets and pillowcases marked with nail polish and what looked like blood. There were no fitted sheets, and some other guests didn't even get made beds or cleaned rooms. Even the drink machine looked like it came from the 1980s. The owners let people hang around asking guests for things. In less than three hours, six different people asked me for cigarettes. They seemed like the kind of people you wouldn't want to be around, and the owners have created an environment for drug-using tweakers to beg from guests, or try to, just to get by. Such a horrible place.

The people and staff were really nice, but the rooms are falling apart and the pool isn't fit for swimming.
