We arrived late, and the staff were nice enough to keep the desk open after I called ahead. Do call if you're getting in late. When I reserved, I was told they'd notify the hotel, but apparently they didn't, and the sign says the desk closes at 10 pm. The room cost 75 dollars, so I might have accepted more if this were some off-brand motel. It was a branded hotel, and I expected better. The building sits far back in a professional park by the highway fence. It was dark and felt like an uncomfortable place to be at night. There's nowhere nearby to walk for breakfast, and trash was scattered across the parking lot until my husband picked it up and put it in the dumpster. When we got there, four kids under ten were sitting by the entrance playing on devices and going in and out. People were hanging around cars, so we felt uneasy leaving our things in the car and brought everything inside. The highway noise was loud, the room smelled awful, and there were visible stains on the bed coverlet. I slept on a towel over everything and barely got any rest, with the smell and cars blasting music through the lot. I counted the hours until I could shower and leave. The first day of my vacation went to washing everything that had touched anything in that room. I won't stay at this extended stay again in my lifetime. I'd rather sleep in my car.

There was food left in the room and dirty towels. I had to ask at the front desk for towels, washcloths, and soap, and the TV didn't work. The room also had roaches, and the clothes weren't changed. Someone was smoking pot, and the smell reached the hallway. The guy said he could move me, but I was too afraid of what the other room might be like. I only chose this place because it was close to work. I'm very unhappy with the stay and think I should get at least some of my money back. I won't spend any more of my hard-earned money here or recommend it to anyone.

We had to find somewhere nearby in a hurry, and I was wary of extended stay places because of things I'd heard. We arrived late and had to call, but a very helpful, accommodating young man at the desk greeted us right away. He had a great personality. The room was clean and did what we needed, though it was plain and dated, nothing special. The staff were helpful, and I'd come back. A little coffee pot and more than two towels would make the rooms more inviting, but there's only so much they could do.

Room 323 had a clear roach infestation. They were coming from the stove corners and visible on the floor and ceiling. I called the night attendant right away, but she suggested there was nothing she could do and mentioned “construction.” I told her calmly that the room wasn't fit to stay in. She moved me to Room 412, where there were fewer roaches, though I still saw smaller ones on the floor. My sister's room wasn't infested, so even though we'd paid for two rooms, we had to share one. I'd booked two rooms through We Salute at a discounted rate. After a railroad nail punctured my tire while I was traveling, I spent several hours waiting at a gas station with two children before checking in late at night. I told the attendant I had a discount and had reserved before midnight. She was rude and dismissive, which made an already long, stressful night harder. We were assigned Rooms 323 and 324. I said I'd ask for a refund for the room we couldn't use and asked her to document the issue. She brushed me off again, saying there'd be no refund and no manager available until Monday. I explained I wasn't asking for an immediate refund, but having roach activity in two rooms was unacceptable. They also didn't honor the discounted rate. The unsanitary rooms and poor service turned an exhausting night into a nightmare.

This place costs more than other extended stays, and the room wasn't very clean when we arrived, so luckily we like to go over everything with our own supplies. The Wi-Fi is terrible, which makes my children's schoolwork take longer. They charge for everything. Housekeeping and fresh linens are only offered every two weeks, and anything outside that costs extra. Using the room phone costs extra too, and so does getting better Wi-Fi. If you're homeless and trying to save for a place of your own, don't come here. You'll be overcharged for your stay and then billed for everything in between.
