My room and bathroom were clean, quiet and comfortable, and I slept well. I have no complaints about them. Breakfast, though, was pathetic. There were powdered eggs and mostly cooked bacon, with no biscuits, gravy or yogurt. I've had better breakfast at much worse hotels. It's unlikely I'll spend company money here again.

I called as a courtesy when I was arriving around 2 a.m., and checking in that late was no problem. Everything felt clean and smelled good, and the customer service was professional. Definitely a five-star experience. I'll stay again.

I stayed here because it was close to work, but my latest visit was anything but restful. A dog in the room next door barked nonstop for two nights. The owner hadn't told the hotel about the dog. Staff did what they could, but they couldn't just throw it out. The bigger problem happened on Thursday. I'd extended my stay by a day for work, but the front desk employee that evening apparently didn't want to work with CLC and wanted a new reservation instead. Nobody told me about that. After a long day at work, I came back Thursday afternoon to find my belongings packed into a plastic bag and left in someone's office. My suitcase was broken while they were putting my things in it. They found all my belongings in the room when they went in to clean, including my laptop and toiletries in the bathroom, but no one called, texted or emailed me. I expected better customer service than this from a Hilton property, more like what I'd expect from a Motel 6 or Super 8. Between the dog waking me up, my things being removed, the overnight staff ignoring my extension and the lack of professionalism from the staff who cleared the room, I'll stay somewhere else in Jacksonville from now on.

It's a comfortable, clean hotel with efficient check-in and a nice facility. Being close to the interstate makes access easy, though it also means restaurant choices nearby are limited.
