Hampton Inn & Suites Jacksonville Deerwood Park

The lobby and pool were clean, inviting, and well maintained, and the location is tucked into a quiet area while still close to restaurants, shopping, and main highways. My stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Jacksonville Deerwood Park felt easy and relaxing from beginning to end. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile. My room was spotless, roomy, and very comfortable, just what I expect from Hampton quality. Breakfast was fresh, well stocked, and had plenty to choose from. Great value and hospitality. Five stars from me, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Jacksonville. MTC

The desk staff were very nice, and they moved me to another room, even upgrading it. Still, both rooms had issues. The first had food and belongings left by a previous guest, including chips, despite being told nobody had stayed there in a while. The TV was broken too, and when I reported it, the repair person banged on my door like he was going to break it down. In the second room, the refrigerator didn’t work and cleanliness was again below par. There was construction everywhere, with muddy footprints across the carpet and hallways. This stay was a hassle, not an easy trip, and far too expensive for what you get, even with the free breakfast. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The staff really made this place shine. Everyone we met was kind, cheerful, and went out of their way to say hello and help. One man even paused his work to light the outdoor firepit for us. The property was spotless inside and out, and our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was hot, fresh, and delicious. We had a quick stay in December 2025, found it to be great value, and would gladly recommend it and return.

Ariell was working hard to keep everyone happy, and the staff were friendly. The rooms smelled good and were perfectly clean, with plenty of towels. There were free waters, which Florida hotels really need, plus free cookies. Breakfast was AMAZING, honestly one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. Thank you!
