The bed was noisy enough that I could hear every spring whenever I moved, and there were strange bugs in the bathtub having a party, as shown in the attached images. I only reported the TV remote to the front desk. Its batteries were dead, and there wasn't a single fresh battery in the whole hotel. They gave me dead ones from an office desk drawer, so I couldn't use the TV during my two-night stay. That's why I rated the service low. I can't believe a hotel with that many remotes had no working batteries. At least I travel with my tablet, so I still had something to watch. These last two stays at Holiday Inn have left me scratching my head.

My family and I were traveling from South Florida to Virginia to visit a relative in hospice, and after late hours and severe storms we needed somewhere to rest. I called to book two rooms, and Kylie answered with real kindness and efficiency. She arranged for the rooms to be next to each other and had the keys ready, so arrival was easy and stress-free. The following morning, Ginger in the breakfast area was warm and attentive, made sure there was plenty of food, and kept checking whether we needed anything. As we were leaving, the fourth-floor housekeeping staff offered to help with our luggage, an unexpected gesture we appreciated. Erin at the front desk was compassionate at checkout and showed genuine care for our situation. The whole team, the pristine property, delicious food, and outstanding service made the stay memorable and helped make a hard trip easier. Holiday Inn Express & Suites (Chaffee) Jacksonville West has set a new standard for hospitality. We're deeply grateful.

Erin and all the front desk staff took care of us through the weekend like we were at a relative's home. Juluis in maintenance helped with all my banquet room requests. Management has assembled an all-star cast. I'll be back, and this will always be my first choice.

We stopped here during a visit to Florida. The room was clean and had the standard microwave and refrigerator. Breakfast had a decent selection of hot and cold items, including fruit.
