I canceled and found another hotel. I was with my family, including my son, and wasn’t going to stay in that dump. The experience was terrible. At first glance the location looked good, but the lobby reeked of marijuana. The front desk staff seemed more interested in phone calls than guests. At check-in, the guy gave me a room number so I could look at the room before deciding whether to stay and pay. It was a non-smoking room, but it stank of marijuana. The bathroom was filthy and unhygienic, from the toilet to the bathtub.

The reception counter was locked when we got there, so we called and reached the same man we’d spoken with earlier that day. We had called to confirm our booking and explain we’d arrive late; he’d assured us the reservation was set and check-in would be fine. Now he said the hotel was full and denied having spoken to anyone. He was rude and no help, sounding like we’d woken him up. There were also some strange people hanging around outside, and the place looked questionable. I’m not even sorry we lost the room, since who knows what shape it would’ve been in. The way this was handled left us extremely dissatisfied.

Angelica, the manager, gave my wife and me such a warm welcome when we’d just moved here from Texas. Tracy, Tabitha, Chay, and Chris were great too. They kept going out of their way to make our stay easy and pleasant. Thanks again, we had a great experience.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but I probably won’t stay here again. Our room needed a lot of work: the floor was dirty, the pillows had stains, and we found a couple of cockroaches. The TV had no sound.
