The location is fabulous, just far enough out of town that people can’t walk over and bother you. Staff are very polite, and the rooms are clean, in good shape, and without damage. It’s a great little getaway, and the prices are hard to beat!

At least the bed was comfortable and there were no bugs. The room was very dirty, though. The walls, floors, and lampshades all needed a thorough cleaning, and there was hair and staining in the bed. The bathroom blinds were bent and broken, so people outside could see in.

The one good thing was that, as several others had noticed, there were no bed bugs. Otherwise the room was very dirty, with heavy mold in the shower, spots all over the walls, dusty furniture, and a suspicious white substance on the carpet at the foot of the bed.

We stayed here a year ago and it was decent. On this visit home, we picked Colony again. They seem understaffed because of COVID, unfortunately, but everyone was incredibly nice to us. It looks like many rooms have been updated, and ours was absolutely immaculate. The bathrooms looked incredible, and the room felt and looked clean, although it smelled a bit odd. We paid around $149 including taxes for two nights.
