Clarion Pointe Jamestown - Falconer

I woke up to a blood-stained bed after being bitten by bed bugs all night. I caught a bunch of them in a cup and took them to the front desk. The clerk asked if I’d been on the second floor. When I said yes, she replied that they’d only had them on the first floor so far. I asked for a refund because I was changing hotels. When the manager arrived, he offered only $30 off. I clearly asked for a full refund, but he wouldn’t offer more. I’ll never stay there again and would gladly pay more for one of the hotels across the street.

There were cockroaches all over, both dead and alive, and housekeeping hadn’t even cleaned up the dead ones. I told the front desk, and she said she’d make a note. When I asked for a refund, she said she couldn’t even cancel the booking, much less refund me.

The breakfast was a real highlight, with tasty and surprisingly healthy toppings such as almonds, walnuts, dried cranberries, granola, and more. Check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk staff were wonderful, welcoming, friendly, and helpful. My room was clean, comfortable, and well cared for after a long day. I had a great stay at Clarion Pointe Jamestown and would happily stay again. Highly recommend!

It was an average stay: average room, food, and service, and not the best place I’ve stayed. The one thing that really annoyed me was someone repeatedly slipping notices under our door saying smoking wasn’t allowed. Hello, I’m not a smoker, thanks.
