Plantation Inn & Suites

The oddest part of our stay was the banquet hall. It was packed with people playing Bingo when we arrived, then completely empty when I passed through later that night. Once the callers had gone, it was quiet enough to rest. We were traveling through Weston with the last stretch of the drive still ahead, and The Inn at Plantation was an affordable stop. It has a rustic, old-outpost feel. Someone after polished, modern rooms might find it outdated, but I thought it was charming and cozy. It wasn't pristine, though I saw no bugs or anything else unpleasant, and it was clean enough for a good night's sleep. For the price, it gave us what we needed and maybe a little more. A fair place to stay if you're passing through and keeping an eye on your spending.

I still felt the room was safe, and its spot right along the highway was convenient. I stayed seven nights, though the first impression could have been much better. The room was dusty, the microwave hadn't been cleaned, and the mini fridge still had a yogurt sachet from the previous guest that smelled like it had been there a while. There was also a visible red sauce drop on the comforter liner, so I didn't use it. The shower water kept shifting between hot and cold, which was annoying. I could hear the upstairs guest snoring and their TV playing loudly until midnight. I'd recommend a last minute room check before guests arrive. A good first impression matters.

The beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the location was convenient. Everything was clean and well maintained. No complaints.

I only needed a room for two nights and wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were great, the room was amazing, and it was very quiet. Great room for the price, and I'd highly recommend this place.
