The prices are very affordable, and there’s a gas station just down the road. It’s peaceful here, without drama or chaos, and staff check on me. I feel secure and valued, and I’ve made friends with the staff. They recognize people who stay often and have looked after me. When an older woman in the room next to mine was extremely racist, the staff dealt with it without me needing to ask. I have no issues with bugs. They sanitize and clean my room very thoroughly, the way I like it, and still offer housekeeping during my long stays. There are always some flaws, but I love how considerate the staff are here at Motel 6.

I’ve stayed at a lot of Motel 6 properties, and I’m a Motel 6 guy. This one has been upgraded, the staff were very helpful, and the hotel was clean. Great price, too.

The room had so many flies that we got a refund and left. They were all over the window, curtains, and bed. The bathroom was filthy, the connecting-room door was a flimsy-looking thin wood board that seemed easy to kick down, and I didn’t trust its lock. The main room door’s deadbolt didn’t work either. People came out of several rooms to stare at us when we pulled into the lot, the location didn’t feel good or safe, and others were blasting music. We’re grateful to the front desk man, whose name might’ve been Louise. He understood, offered us another room, and issued a refund without a problem when we declined. We ended up at the Hampton Inn directly across the road with our two dogs.

There was black mildew all over the sheets, and when my wife and I took off the pillowcases, we saw dried blood stains. The place felt unsafe, and housekeeping had no sense of privacy. Come on, show some respect. Very bad, one star.
