Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Jeffersonville IN

We paid $300 for two nights, which was way too much for a place this dirty. The floors in the lobby, elevator, halls, and our room were filthy, with debris scattered around. At a wedding with a formal dress code, I felt disgusting walking over those floors in an evening gown. I bought Clorox wipes to use in the bathroom for peace of mind. The AC worked, the water stayed warm, and we didn't find bedbugs, at least. I booked this hotel for a wedding. The front desk woman was rude, and we were placed on the second floor as far from the only entrance and the elevator as possible. I hadn't known our room location before check-in. Within minutes of entering, I called to ask for a first-floor room closer to the door. She refused, saying we'd already been in the room, only one clean room remained for the next paying guest, and moving us would leave none. No one had bathed or slept in the bed; how hard would it have been to send someone to check and touch up the room? I've worked in hotels twice and had to do that myself. There were maybe four or five cars in the lot including ours, and we saw no other guests. We did hear people on our floor and smell the weed they were smoking. It seemed nearly vacant, with empty rooms left dirty and staff too lazy to deal with them. We booked on short notice because it was the best we could manage for our budget. I'd strongly recommend staying somewhere else.

There was mold on the bread at breakfast, ants, and the hotel smelled like piss. The bathrooms had roaches too. The clerk was disrespectful, told me I looked homeless, and said they were charging extra to my room because three people were staying in it instead of two. I'm distraught about this place. Seriously, it should be shut down.

We booked rooms here for four nights with friends while attending Louder Than Life, and neither room was clean when we arrived. There were crumbs on tables and dirt and blood stains on the sheets. My AC didn't work, and the front desk only gave me a box fan. Housekeeping did empty the trash and replace towels during the stay, but that was about all. They never turned down the beds. When we asked about compensation, we were told, "will see what we can do," but no offer was made. My friends' room was worse, and they even recorded roaches crawling around. The location is convenient off the highway, but squatters from the abandoned hotel next door could be seen wandering around at night. I know Days Inn isn't the best chain, but I've never stayed at a worse one. The staff gave no impression they cared. I'll update if they make any effort to put things right, though I'm not holding my breath. Definitely look elsewhere.

I first wrote a review saying it was okay at best, but I have to change that. This morning I woke up to roaches all over the bathroom. The bed is awful, too. I can't believe Days Inn lets its name be on this place. I'll never stay at another Days Inn. It's horrendous and gross. Please do everything you can to avoid it.
