Budget Inn of Jasper

I’m in this part of Florida often, and I’ll stay here again. The rooms are dated, but for the price, that doesn’t bother me. We had a microwave, clean comfortable beds, friendly staff who were accommodating, and really quiet grounds. The shower was great, with very hot water and good pressure. There’s also plenty of parking space for trucks and RVs. Happy travels!

The second room they moved us to had two beds, but only one looked clean. After that first night, my wife developed a skin infection, probably from the dirty sheets. In the first room, there were blood stains and mold on the walls, a broken sink, and a musty, dirty smell throughout. The sheets had white stains, and the TV screen had marks I couldn’t identify. This was unsanitary and unsafe. If you have to stay, inspect the room carefully before settling in, though I’d recommend finding somewhere else. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel I should warn people and hope management fixes these problems.

The place felt scary and unsafe to me. Everything was dirty, and the person at the office who helped me wasn’t friendly. It’s horrible, don’t come here.

We had booked the next night too, but the manager or owner came into our room at noon and said it was time to leave. They said the girl at the counter would be fired for giving us the full night. The whole experience was disrespectful, aggravating, and disgusting. We had to leave three rooms: the first had no A/C, the second was nasty, and the third had working A/C but a filthy filter. The fire alarm was ripped off the wall and hanging by its wires. I don’t recommend this place.
