Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jersey City - Holland Tunnel by IHG

This worked really well for my semi-grown family, one child in their twenties and one in their teens. The hotel felt completely safe and convenient, and everything worked as it should. We didn’t notice any odd smells or noises. The staff were amazing, and the complimentary breakfast was one of the better ones I’ve had.

My friends had an easy base for getting to attractions in both New Jersey and New York City, and I’d recommend the hotel to other out-of-town visitors. I stopped by to see a friend who was staying there and was struck by how clean the whole place was. The staff were warm from the moment I arrived: the valet and concierge greeted me with smiles, and the cleaning staff were just as friendly. The rooms looked very well kept, too.

The room felt fresh and carefully looked after, and it was spotless and incredibly comfortable. Check-in through checkout, everything seemed clean and well maintained, which can be a weak point at other hotels. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. It made for a relaxed, comfortable stay, and I’d gladly come back or recommend the place.

Leo at the front desk really made our trip. He took our bags when we arrived and later helped us track down a lost phone. He was professional, kind, and knew his stuff. Roxanne was friendly and helpful as well. We had a great vacation at the Holiday Inn Holland Tunnel: the rooms were clean, and there was a gym and free breakfast. It’s about a 12-minute walk to the PATH train, which made getting into NYC easy, and Hudson River views of New York City were a nice extra. We’d stay again.
