Hyatt House Jersey City

We had an easy check-in, friendly staff, and a building that felt safe and well kept. Depending on where your room is, you might hear some noise, but they’re very accommodating if you ask. The lobby is so relaxing that my planned five-minute sit turned into 40. Breakfast was solid and surprisingly organized even when it got busy. I stayed at the Hyatt House Jersey City and was surprised by how much I loved it. The rooms are modern and clean, with a cozy feel despite being spacious, and the bed had me sleeping through my alarm twice. The waterfront is right outside, and the PATH station is almost next door, which made it easy to get between Jersey and Manhattan without the Manhattan chaos. I’d definitely come back.

Parking was a hassle because I had to use another building, and it cost $27 a day. I didn’t stay overnight, so I can’t rate the rooms, though a colleague said they were comfortable. I attended a medical symposium in a conference room with panoramic views of the New York skyline. There was plenty of space, clean bathrooms, and comfortable shared waiting areas. Staff answered questions quickly and were helpful. The food was good, with a nice variety, and was set up and taken away as agreed. Right beside the hotel is a really interesting monument commemorating a Polish WWII incident. I’d consider staying here next time. Book early for the best price.

Trudy welcomed me as soon as I arrived, and the customer service was exceptional. The Hyatt House had the feel of a boutique hotel. From the terrace and rooftop bar, the skyline views were stunning, and the Path was only a short walk from the entrance. Breakfast had several options to choose from.

The terrace views are amazing, and it’s a lovely part of the hotel. We also enjoyed walking to the pier, and supervisor Jalen was very nice and understanding. The showers are roomy, but the frosted sliding glass bathroom doors offer no privacy and took away from enjoying them. Please replace them with proper private doors. I’d consider staying again if they did. The train right next to the hotel kept waking our five-year-old during the night, so none of us got good sleep.
