For what it cost, this was exceptional, and I had a great stay. The hotel was clean and the room was nice. The sofa, though, had worn cushions and no support. When I sat down, it felt like I was sitting on the floor.

Jerseyville was right where we needed to stay, and being able to bring our dog made it perfect for the trip. The employees were the best, so friendly and helpful. The rooms are definitely dated, and I wish there had been coffee in the room. Cleanliness could use some work.

The roaches were bad enough to make me wary, and the checkout and refund experience was incredibly dishonest. We left a day early and returned the keys at 8:40 am. The clerk told us to request the refund through the booking site, but the hotel never processed our early checkout. They also claimed a do not disturb sign was on our door, so they couldn't clean the room, even though there wasn't one. As a result, no refund could be issued. Don't go here. Beware.

We keep choosing this place when we're back in town to see family. It's quiet and feels safe, with a big breakfast included and reasonable prices. The hotel is super clean, pets are welcome, and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommend it.
