I accidentally booked twice, and the desk person noticed, asked me about it, and kindly canceled one reservation without charging me. That restored a little faith in humanity. The plain brown elevator doors, though, were easy to miss. The shower was incredible, with the hottest, strongest stream I’ve experienced. You could probably wash dried-on dishes with it without scrubbing. Comfort Bay toilet paper was thick enough that I can see why someone might steal it, but please don’t. This is how we end up without nice things. Do thieves read reviews? There were three bath towels, three hand towels, and three washcloths, which was more than I’ve ever seen supplied in a single room. I was less keen on the sign asking guests to air-dry and reuse them. Terra Green soap products are a hotel favorite of mine because they smell so good. The name makes me feel like I’m saving the planet, though I’m not.

I watched Melissa calmly step in when a man needed to be reminded to treat the women at the desk respectfully. He seemed surprised, then got somewhat pushy, which could have felt intimidating. Melissa handled the whole thing with such discretion and composure that my coworker didn’t even realize what was happening. I was inspired by how brave, strong, and genuine she was, and told her so after the man left. My coworker and I were meant to arrive Sunday, November 9th, but after a five-hour delay we got in around 3:30am on Monday, November 10th. A woman was cleaning in the lobby. She greeted us kindly, said she’d be right with us, checked us in promptly, and answered our questions. She was sweet and polite. The women at the front desk clearly do far more than check-ins. They’re also handling housekeeping, concierge work, liaison duties, service recovery, and security. Keep doing what you’re doing. The world needs more people like you!

The suite was nice, parking was good, and breakfast was solid. The staff were friendly, and I appreciated them fixing a reservation mistake with help from the Manager. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Jonathan and the staff were extremely professional, and we felt safe during our stay. We were in town for a wedding and enjoyed ourselves, including the spectacle of the three women we saw causing a scene. We kept asking Jonathan why he didn’t make them leave. He let them stay that night, but after they continued harassing the woman at the desk, he finally told them enough was enough: they could stay that night, but would have to leave the next day. The two women working at the desk were in tears over how they’d been treated. Jonathan came over and offered to cancel the deceased person’s reservation and refund it. The other women had already booked a different room, and he discounted that one for them. We saw them accept the offer. One of the women offered to get a drink with Jonathan, but he declined. I’d just seen the review those three women wrote, and the audacity amazed me. They tried to use a dead person’s reservation and credit card payment. Scamming someone who has died is despicable, and the hotel was right not to allow it. We recorded the women for a laugh and put it on our TikTok. To those three women: let dead people rest. Stop trying to take their money and then acting like you’re the victims. Disgusting, and you should be ashamed. We’ll be back in the area and will stay here again.
