Courtyard by Marriott Jonesboro

Quiet room near the job site, with comfortable beds and all the hotel stuff you could want. I didn’t have time to use it all, but it was there. I’d stay again if I needed to.

The rooms are clean, the service is friendly, and the inside looks nice. The big problem is how thin the walls are. You can hear a normal conversation next door, and you’ll hear their TV too. At least the loud AC units cover some of it.

I was there over Labor Day weekend, and the property felt overwhelmed and poorly maintained. Trash was full and overflowing, there was no housekeeping during my three-day stay, and the hotel was terribly understaffed. I couldn’t eat at the restaurant because staff would take one order to prepare in the back, leaving no one at the cashier desk. The hot water was full of coffee, likely because everyone was so busy. The AGM had to do housekeeping on a holiday, then charged a fraudulent cleaning fee. The GM wasn’t there all weekend, and the staff offered a half-baked apology. The AGM and GM definitely have an attitude. This has made me unwilling to choose Marriott when I travel. The Fairfield has a pool, and my family who stayed there had no problems. In response to the business reply: I did not have a Do not disturb sign on my door, and housekeeping did not come every other day. The bins were overflowing over the weekend, and staff were clearly understaffed and overwhelmed. Saying none of my experiences are valid is ridiculous. Review the camera footage to see how poorly the property was maintained over Labor Day weekend, or take the criticism as a chance to fix things and improve. They don’t maintain Marriott brand standards.

It’s hard to find a place in Arkansas that has both a refrigerator and a microwave, but this one did. The room was clean and really good, and the YouTube on the television made me happy as all get out.
