Days Inn by Wyndham Jonesville

Fine for a single night in the middle of a trip, but I wouldn't recommend it beyond that. The room was decent, although musty, and we were glad to have air freshener. In my opinion it cost too much. I've stayed in much nicer hotels for the same price or less.

The toilet handle was broken, so we had to reach into the tank to flush, and we couldn't get the TV working. For $113, that room wasn't worth it. When I asked for a refund the next morning, they said the manager wouldn't be in until Monday, three days later. We arrived late after driving all day and stayed at three hotels during our trip. This was the worst and the most expensive. I hadn't checked the reviews beforehand, but I won't make that mistake again. We had the same experience as the other negative reviews. Zero stars, don't stay here.

It's an older motel, so it doesn't have all the amenities of a new place, but it had everything we needed for an overnight stop on our journey. The room and pool were both very clean. It's not a five-star hotel, just surprisingly nice, and the pet fee was only $12!

The pool was great, but the room and lobby smelled like smoke even though we requested non-smoking. There was an ashtray right outside our room. We also requested a pet-free room, but my eyes started itching as soon as I sat in a chair. We asked for a 1 pm early check-in and were told the rooms weren't ready. That seemed odd when occupancy looked around 50%, with plenty of clean rooms and no other guests in sight.
