Jonesville is an easy walk away, and both Jonesville and Hillsdale have plenty of restaurants to choose from. We'll stay here again. The house has a fascinating 91-year history, with spacious, clean, well-appointed rooms that feel comfortable and private. The common areas were clean and comfortable too. Breakfast was excellent, and the personal touch from the chef made it clear that our satisfaction mattered. Chris, the owner and manager, is friendly and fun to talk with. He checked in before our planned arrival so we could come early, and surprised us with an upgrade after anticipating what we'd need for our stay. He made us feel welcome and looked after.

Don't skip breakfast here. It's fantastic, and if they offer French toast, say yes. Chris knows the area inside out, so we enjoyed chatting through our plans over breakfast and getting tips on restaurants and antique shops. We stayed three nights in Julia's room. It was cozy, spacious enough, and the bed was really comfortable. The house is beautiful, and we felt right at home. Also, three adorable dogs live here, and we got to pet them. I'd absolutely recommend this place, especially for a stay of a few days.

We stayed at Munro House for five days last week, and we'd love to come back. Chris was a joy to talk with, and he kindly let us spend time with his sweet puppies. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious.

The breakfasts Chris made were thoughtful and delicious, and my wife and I made new friends with him and his family. We'll definitely look for a chance to stay at Munro House again when we're in town. The rooms were very nice and comfortable, and the whole house felt secure and welcoming. Our hosts were wonderful.
