Everything we needed was already in the kitchen, from the dishes and coffee machine to all the pots and pans, and there were lots of towels and sheets too. The condos sit farther down the canyon, nearer Silver Lake, so it was peaceful and away from the busier traffic. The only thing missing was a ceiling fan in the bunk room, though we were glad there was a box fan.

The kitchen may look dated, but it had what we needed to cook, and there were towels enough for a huge group. We liked being just past the ski area, away from the busy downtown. We were there midweek and didn't see another car or person, so maybe the other condos were empty. The house was pretty nice. The gear closet by the entrance smelled a little musty, but only that spot did.

The birds, ducks, and deer wandering through the trees and grass are a big part of what we enjoy here. Aspen Meadows is a quiet group of just eleven townhomes, with little traffic coming and going. It's down the canyon rather than in town, but close to the lakes and hiking, which is why we keep coming back.
