Best Western Country Lane Inn

The room was comfortable, clean, and welcoming, and getting around from this location was easy. Staff were friendly, and having breakfast brought to our room was a nice extra. We had a great mini getaway and would stay here again if we’re back in the area.

The setting was lovely, with hanging baskets everywhere, and the rooms were clean and just right. The front desk women were terrific. When the TV volume wouldn’t work, they sent maintenance right away to sort it out. They were attentive throughout. The airport is close enough to walk, though there’s also a shuttle van. We walked to Donna's diner for excellent food and stopped by the fun St. Vincent's dePauls thrift store beside it. Shuttles can also take you downtown or to a grocery store. Breakfast was great and could be delivered to the door. They kept our two larger bags free for five days while we flew to a fishing resort.

Fresh warm cookies were baking all day, and the hotel had a well stocked laundry room and everything else we needed. The staff were super friendly, and breakfast was free and delivered to our room. There’s a shuttle to the airport and nearby spots, plus scheduled trips downtown. It’s not near downtown Juneau, but it’s really convenient for the airport.

The room was clean and comfortable, and there’s coffee and snacks in the lobby all day. Naja was so friendly at check-in. She explained everything, booked our shuttles, arranged a grab and go breakfast for the next morning, and let us check in very early. The maintenance man was great too, though I didn’t get his name. A cruise line had damaged a wheel on my suitcase. I asked for a screwdriver, but after he looked at the damage, he offered to reinforce the bottom before putting the wheel back on. Without that fix, I’d have needed a new suitcase to make it through the two flights home. It was a perfect repair. Many, many thanks!
