Best Western Intracoastal Inn

Please don’t stay here. The hotel smelled strongly of mold and mildew, as other reviews have mentioned, and the river walk, though gorgeous, wasn’t worth it. They shampoo the carpeted rooms with a powerful perfume to cover the smell. It was toxic-smelling and hurt my throat. The windows don’t open, there’s no ventilation, and the bathroom fan didn’t work, so showering left us suffocating in steam. The rooms were dirty and dingy, and our fridge was broken. The front desk and other staff were very kind and tried to help with what they could. I felt bad for them because they can’t control the hotel’s condition. The owners or managers have clearly neglected the building and its water damage. We both have severe allergies and felt sick for the next few days after sleeping there one night.

I picked this hotel for the location and reasonable price while my elderly parent was at JFK hospital and family were in Tequesta. Pulling into the lot, I thought, “Aww, it’s so little.” But the one-bed room felt cozy as soon as I walked in. I went out to the pool area once, and the view was awesome, at least to me. I’d stay again if I found it at a reasonable rate.

The rooms were newly renovated and really cute, though a bit smaller than at other hotels. We had a king room and a double room, and the beds were very comfortable. I liked having the sink inside the bathroom. Breakfast was yummy, with eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles, yogurt, cereal, and more, plus coffee available around the clock. I was honestly surprised by how much I liked this place. Bill, I believe that was his name, was super nice and helpful at check-in. The view outside was gorgeous. You can walk down the path to watch the sunset or the boats, and the pool area is set up so cutely. A big thank you to everyone, from check-in to checkout. I’ll come back!

Bill made the stay especially nice. He was sweet, helpful with restaurant suggestions, and gave us tips about some tucked-away swimming spots. We were excited to see him each day. He’s a real gem, and I hope to return to Jupiter and book here again. The price was low, so I went in with modest expectations, but the cozy, clean rooms, great pool, breathtaking riverwalk behind the hotel, and convenient location all surpassed them. The customer service was phenomenal.
