We were in Unit 1110 in January 2026. Joseph and Kelly were wonderful hosts and sorted out a couple of hiccups quickly. There are places to eat nearby and groceries too. We’ll be back. MAHALO The corner unit had a spectacular, breathtaking view. We watched whales from the balcony, and the bedroom had lovely views as well. It was very comfortable. The AC came in handy, though we didn’t need it most of the time.
From our ground floor corner unit, we could see sea turtles, humpback whales, and two other islands right outside. The sunsets were beautiful, and we heard waves crashing all night. The condo complex was very quiet. It’s an amazingly beautiful location, with great food and other conveniences within walking distance. And that view!
The lanai view was amazing, and the beach was just steps away. We saw multiple turtles there. The My Perfect stay condo had lovely decor, was well equipped, and had a really nice bed. The shower had multiple heads. I’d definitely come back!
The beach right in front of the resort is marginal. You can swim there, but you probably won’t want to lounge on it. The view from the condo is exquisite, and so are the Maui sea turtles. Dollies, a friendly local bar, is across the street, with the more traditional resort bar, Captain Jacks, next door. I’m guessing these are among the least expensive rooms on Maui’s west side. I booked through My Perfect Stays, and the condo was very nice.
The room was decent, but nowhere near as nice as the listing made it seem. Reception is open only a few hours a day, and there’s no service, such as fresh sheets or replacement shower gel. Construction drilling was going on, and it made staying in the condo difficult.
