Sea Village #4210 Ocean Front Lanai!

The ocean view from our third-floor room was gorgeous, and it was about a 1.5 mile walk to the busy town center's tourist shops and restaurants. The location is good, but there are some things to know before you go. We had two seniors and four people with heavy luggage, and the lack of elevators made the stairs tough, especially after long days. Our room was hot and stuffy when we arrived. There was no regular AC, just a rolling Move N' Cool unit with a padlock on the cord. You have to arrange it before check-in and pay $15 a day. The maintenance guy was very sweet, but the unit couldn't cool the one-bedroom place. Opening the balcony and using the powerful fans worked better, and once we got fresh air moving, nights were quite comfortable. Common areas badly need refreshing. The unit was aged but functional, though the floors left our feet black and could use a good cleaning. We could have used more ice cube trays. The nearby Café got negative reviews, but we had good coffee and no issues. It wasn't terrible, as long as you know what you're getting.
