2bd Kumulani At Mauna Kea Resort 2 Bedroom Condo

Kumulani has units rented by different owners, so their condition depends on who owns them. The resort access to Mauna Kea resort is a nice perk, and it’s only a 5-7 minute drive away. The resort and beach are nice, but our Unit I-3 was in terrible condition and very expensive for what it was. It hadn’t been cleaned properly. The dishwasher door was nearly off its hinges, the door stripping was falling off, and the racks wouldn’t move in and out. The kitchen appliances were outdated. All the mattresses were saggy, with old, ill-fitting sheets, and the furniture was uncomfortable with tired, shabby decor. I-3 likely hadn’t been updated at all since the 1990s. Ask the owner or property manager ahead of time whether a unit is modern and recently updated. Yuck.
