We especially liked having a pool to unwind at; a few people in our group stayed back for a couple of days while the rest explored the Island and found lovely local lunch spots. The facility is very nice. Queens Market Place is about a five-minute drive, with shops and restaurants, and the Island Gourmet Market has groceries, clothing, liquor, and prepared or cooked meals. There’s also a gas station at Kings Shops, around five minutes away. Highly recommend.

The room was spacious, but we found two roaches, one there when we checked in and another outside the closet on our second night. It made us wonder whether the room had been vacant for a while. There were strange noises from the bathroom vent, too. For the value, it didn’t feel worthwhile, and I wouldn’t stay again.

The full kitchen and laundry in the room made it easy to manage our packed itinerary. We spent a week here with friends and went on lots of excursions, but it was reassuring to have staff available to help us plan if needed. After being busy every day, winding down at the main hotel pool was a great way to end the trip.

After dinner, we were exhausted and ended up falling asleep outside our own door because the lock had failed and we couldn’t get into the room. We asked politely for help at least ten times, but nothing was properly sorted out. At one point, they called to say it was fixed, then we returned and found it still wasn’t working. There were no apologies or real solutions, just excuses. We also found cockroaches in the room, and there was no cleaning service during our stay. It was an incredibly frustrating experience. I’d strongly recommend staying somewhere else and saving your money.
