The beach was really nice, though not the easiest to reach if mobility is an issue. Once in the water, it’s all sand underfoot, which was lovely. We stayed in a house rather than the hotel, but came for golf, food, and time at the beach. Golf was awesome but expensive. Manta was great, and Copper Bar was very good.

These are luxury homes along the south fairway of the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel Golf Course. South Kohala Management rents out the beautiful vacation homes, and they make a great base for an unforgettable vacation.
